Migrant workers here in Hong Kong have plenty of things they can do during their free time, but it’s up to them with what they want to achieve or experience during their stay here in Hong Kong.
Of course, working overseas is not something ideal for long-term, especially when you have kids and family back home.
Organizations Offering Courses for Domestic Helpers in Hong Kong
With this in mind, domestic workers here in Hong Kong also have options to enrich their work and stay here in the country by availing courses that could help them discover their passion and/or improve their skills, which could help them transition to a career that would suit them for the long-term, and hopefully to settle back home.

Those interested to learn about swimming can join the free 8-week learning course offered by volunteer swim coaches. Participants must be able to commit to all eight sessions and must be generally in good health to join.
This would be a great opportunity to learn a new skill and make new friends, especially for this summer.
